So, I finally decided to have a blog. Why? To be honest, I'm not sure. Does the world REALLY need another blog? Probably not :) But maybe I need to write one...
So, the first thing I needed to do was find a blog name. My first choice, Blah Blah Blog, was sadly taken and nothing else really popped for me, until I was reading up on some golf terms the other day. There it was -- "Golden Ferret!"
For those of you play golf but haven't heard the term, a "golden ferret" is holing in from a greenside bunker. For those of you who don't play golf, it means, in one golf stroke, getting your ball from a really crappy location to right where you want it -- in the hole!
I figure life is often like that. You may be in a seemingly indesirable spot in life, and suddenly things are looking up. Blessings can come at unexpected times and through unexpected means. Looking for them and appreciating them can turn any day around even if you're sitting in a bunker at the moment.
